Default Attribute points: is there a matrix?

Before spending attribute points I'd like to see what effect they will have. I found this internetsite with a nice matrix.... Only its not complete and its outdated. Does anyone know a recent site?

http://gwvault.ign.com/static.php?page=monk

Thnx

Try the homepage.

Infact, try here...

http://www.guildwarsguru.com/skill.php

You can also refund your attributes if you are not happy with your current ones.

Regards, Ashleigh.

I've seen that site, but its not what I mean. I want to know what happens when I put attribute points in those skills. How much more dmg per point? How much more healing? How much longer does a spell last? When I put 1 point into it, or 2 or 3? Whats the difference? Like the table in my post above, only the information there is not complete and not correct.

When you put your cursor on the spells, you can see what damage they do and for how long. As you apply the attribute points to the skill that influences that skill, you'll see the changes to the damage/duration when you again examine the spells. This is the down&dirty way of seeing this in the game. Hope this helps.

If you check a list of skills like guildwarsguru has, it will give you a certain range of possible damage or time or whatever based on attribute for each skill. Subtract the two numbers to find the range and divide by 12 to determine how much you get added per level. This works in most cases except for skills that barely change from attribute 1 to 12 (life siphon or mending, for example) in which case you might not be sure exactly where it rounds or where the last cutoff is. But in general, it goes up evenly for each level. You can even go above the max listed if you have an attribute higher than 12 with runes or a couple special skills.

Allright, so lets say: Healing breeze. Healing 3-8, meaning 5/12 per level. So I assume it needs 2 points for healing 4 per level (rounded up). Banish is 20-49 points, so it would raise 29/12 per level, meaning for the first level it would raise 2 points. Thats what you mean? And do I get it right that putting points in e.g. healing prayers affects all healing spells simultaniously the way described above?

Yeah, that's pretty much right. The only thing I'm not sure about is if it rounds up down, or what. For example, I think for the necro skill life siphon you need 12 attributes to get it to the 3 pips, while for the monk skill mending you only need 8 points to get it up to the 3 pips.

anything that has to do with pips or durations are hard to figure out. For live attribute values it's best to go on IRC and use the bots floating around for that kind of information.
